Jerrel is the lead audit partner within Orion Assurance & Advisory N.V. Jerrel’s main role is that of (External) Auditor responsible for the performance of statutory audits. Within our firm Jerrel has the role of quality partner for all engagements. Jerrel also acts as a Consultant, Coach, Trainer (in several Accountancy and Audit related courses within Orion and SUVA). Jerrel has a Master’s degree in Business Economics from the Erasmus University and a post-graduate study as Chartered Accountant (University of Tilburg) and a certification of State auditor by the Tax Authorities of the Netherlands.

Jerrel is board member of the Surinamese Chartered Accountants Institute (SCAI/SUVA) responsible for Quality of the profession and Education. Jerrel has worked for Coopers & Lybrand and several smaller auditing firms in the Netherlands. He also worked at the Tax Authorities in the Netherlands.

Jerrel’s specialty and passion consists of creating content for efficiently and effectively performing audit, review, compilation and other engagements with which he (as a consultant) continually supported other accountancy firms in the Netherlands.
